MAKE TIME TO FUEL AND NOURISH YOUR BODY

Let’s be honest, when we are stressed and occupied with our to-do list, the last thing we want to think about is what to eat. Having to make decisions with this mindset often leads to food choices that aren’t the greatest.

Your body deserves to be fueled the right way. Your body deserves to be nourished to feel good. You get to decide how your body will feel. This is WHY it is important to make time to fuel your body.

From my own experience, planning ahead my meals and making time to nourish my body have changed my life for the better. I no longer stress out about figuring out what to eat & I see mealtimes as an opportunity to slow down. My energy level and focus at work have improved just by doing these things.

Planning ahead and making the time to nourish your body is the ultimate form of self-care. Like I say….

When you eat good, you feel good.

STEP 1:

Pick 1 day to plan out your meals for the next 7 days. Maybe Sunday or Monday. Whatever day works best for you.

STEP 2:

Spend 10-15 minutes writing down what you plan to eat. Here’s a Free Meal Plan Template that you could use to plan your meals for the entire week.

STEP 3:

Choose simple recipes. I have created a recipe guide with 30+ simple, delicious, and sexyyy recipes. You can grab them here.

STEP 4:

Create your grocery list & head to the grocery store.

Writing down your meals will save you mental energy which in turn will help you focus more on work. I know that by practicing this habit, it will set you up for success.

Still find meal planning overwhelming?

Planning your meals shouldn’t be complicated. For example,

I would choose three simple recipes. The recipes I have for you in my recipe guide are usually good for three servings. You don’t need to cook or have different meals every day. After you have decided what recipes to make, write down your grocery list and head to the store. I would recommend preparing and cutting all your vegetables and fruits as soon as you get home. It makes everything easier as you prepare your meals during the week.

If planning your meals ahead for an entire week feels overwhelming, you can start by planning at least for the next three days. See how different that feels.
